Acting Classes & Drama Lessons for Children & Kids in NJ (Beginner / Intermediate / Advanced)

PTW’s Acting Classes and Drama Lessons for Kids are designed to use their natural gifts and abilities in a theater setting. Through PTW's unique acting instruction, children learn improv technique, comedy, drama, etc., and are encouraged to explore the multi-dimensional expressions of himself or herself through theatre games, scene work, improv, monologue work, and character study, all while having lots of fun!

Students are carefully placed in a class appropriate to their age, level and experience. Private acting and drama lessons are also available.

Performers Theatre Workshop, located in Maplewood, New Jersey, is one of NJ and NY’s leading performing arts school. Students, ages three to adult can take a variety of classes in all performing arts areas, and proceed at their own pace. PTW’s expert and caring teachers offer indivdual attention to all students. At PTW, there is an enormous sense of community as well as a respect for the individual, which nurtures the young artist and prepares him or her for life on or off the stage.
