Acting Monologue Preparation Classes & Private Lessons in New Jersey (Beginner / Intermediate / Advanced)

The Monologue Preparation Classes & Private Lessons are designed to give each student the opportunity to break down character, transport himself or herself into the understanding and circumstances of the character, and deliver a strong, performance ready monologue for professional auditions, college entry auditions, as well as school play auditions. The Monologue Preparation Classes & Private Lessons are comprehensive insomuch as students learn each piece as part of the full body of work, and as well as learn techniques to “make the character their own”.

Students are carefully placed in a class appropriate to their age, level and experience. Private acting and drama lessons are also available.

Performers Theatre Workshop, located in Maplewood, New Jersey, is one of NJ and NY’s leading performing arts school. Students, ages three to adult can take a variety of classes in all performing arts areas, and proceed at their own pace. PTW’s expert and caring teachers offer indivdual attention to all students. At PTW, there is an enormous sense of community as well as a respect for the individual, which nurtures the young artist and prepares him or her for life on or off the stage.
