Intermediate bass guitar lessons at PTW build directly upon the concepts presented to the beginners. We take the scales and chords you’ve learned and apply them to your favorite songs you would like to learn to play. Each bass guitar lesson will be based around understanding the root of a given chord and being able to embellish that root with the scale it represents. Our intermediate bass lessons students have the opportunity to perform in our annual private lesson recital, where you can show friends and family some of the cool stuff you’ve learned!

Performers Theatre Workshop, located in Maplewood, New Jersey, is one of NJ and NY’s leading performing arts school. Students, ages three to adult can take a variety of classes in all performing arts areas, and proceed at their own pace. PTW’s expert and caring teachers offer indivdual attention to all students. At PTW, there is an enormous sense of community as well as a respect for the individual, which nurtures the young artist and prepares him or her for life on or off the stage.
