The IT Factor

Performers Theatre Workshop’s students past and present have appeared on Broadway, in Film, and on Television, and are accepted into the best performing arts conservatories and leading academic colleges and universities. PTW students credit their training and total experience here for giving them “the PTW edge.”

Fostering a culturally rich environment allows PTW to attract top instructors, who are not only highly skilled educators but also successful and active performers in their fields. With a talented pool of professional faculty, PTW's classical training and curriculum focuses on all areas of the performing arts, including acting and drama for theatre and TV, voice, tap, jazz, show production, guitar, piano, bass and songwriting.

But PTW is not only for young performers with professional aspirations. Just over the past few years PTW students have had the following leading roles in their middle school & high school productions:

Annie in “Annie”

Pippin in “Pippin”

Curly in “Oklahoma”

Sally Bowles in “Cabaret”

Tevye in “Fiddler On The Roof”

Tzeitel in “Fiddler On The Roof”

Charlie in “Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory”

Alelaide in “Guys & Dolls”

Sarah in “Guys & Dolls”

Whether a student’s aspirations are to be on Broadway, a lead in their school musical or just feel better about themselves as a performer and learn for fun, our goal is to build self-confidence along with performing technique, and for students to make personal and performing breakthroughs to help them achieve their unique goals.
