MUSICAL THEATRE SUMMER CAMPS AT PTW - THEATER / BROADWAY CAMP

If you love Broadway and Musical Theatre, you’ll absolutely love the musical theatre classes and shows we perform at the PTW Broadway Camp! We learn and perform songs from shows such as Hairspray, The Addams Family, Rent, West Side Story, Merrily We Roll Along, Sweeney Todd, Annie, A Chorus Line, Hair, Oklahoma, Anything Goes, Thoroughly Modern Millie. We introduce the campers to everything from the classics written by—Cole Porter, George Gershwin, Jerome Kern, Rodgers & Hart, Rodgers & Hammerstein and Steven Sondheim to new works by contemporary composers such as Jason Robert Brown, Jeff Blumenkrantz and Pasek & Paul—and everything in between!

Performers Theatre Workshop, located in Maplewood, New Jersey, is one of NJ and NY’s leading performing arts school. Students, ages three to adult can take a variety of classes in all performing arts areas, and proceed at their own pace. PTW’s expert and caring teachers offer indivdual attention to all students. At PTW, there is an enormous sense of community as well as a respect for the individual, which nurtures the young artist and prepares him or her for life on or off the stage.
